Who We Are
We are the ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team, competing at the highest level of the FIM World Superbike Championship.
Racing with the BMW Motorrad M 1000 RR, the team represents a close partnership between BMW Motorrad, Shaun Muir Racing, and ROKiT. Together, we compete with a clear ambition, to fight at the front of the WorldSBK grid and challenge for race wins and championships.
Every race weekend, our focus is on performance, precision, and teamwork, delivering results on track and representing our partners at the highest level of international motorcycle racing.
What We Do
WorldSBK demands total commitment. The competition is intense, the technical challenge is constant, and success is decided by the smallest margins.
Our work spans every area of racing, from bike development and data analysis to race strategy, pit stop execution, and long-run performance. The BMW Motorrad M 1000 RR is continuously developed in race conditions, with direct input from our riders and engineers throughout the season.
Behind the scenes, a dedicated group of mechanics, engineers, and support staff work together under pressure, round after round, across some of the most demanding circuits in the world.
The Team Behind the Name
The ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team is operated by Shaun Muir Racing (SMR), a British-based race team with extensive experience at world championship level.
SMR’s proven record in WorldSBK forms the foundation of the project, delivering race wins, podiums, and championship success. In partnership with BMW Motorrad, the team continues to develop the M 1000 RR as a competitive package capable of winning at the highest level.
ROKiT became the team’s title sponsor in 2023, bringing a global brand presence and a shared mindset built around ambition, performance, and innovation. The partnership strengthens the team both on and off the track, supporting its racing programme and its connection with fans worldwide.
Our Riders
For the 2026 WorldSBK season, the ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team competes with Danilo Petrucci and Miguel Oliveira.
Both riders bring extensive experience at the highest level of motorcycle racing, along with race-winning pedigree and strong technical feedback. Their role extends beyond race results, contributing directly to bike development, race strategy, and overall team performance.
Together with the BMW Motorrad M 1000 RR and the full SMR technical group, they form a competitive line-up focused on delivering results at every round of the championship.
